Calculator — no data collection

PORcalc does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, and none of the figures you enter into the calculator — cost, selling price, VAT rate, or product name — are ever sent anywhere. All calculations run entirely in your browser.

Any data you enter into the calculator remains entirely under your control and is cleared whenever you refresh or reset the page.

Free PDF guide requests

The only time we ask for personal information is if you choose to request our free PDF guide. When you do, here is exactly what happens:

What we collect: the email address you enter, plus technical details attached to the request (date and time, the country your connection came from, your browser's user-agent string and, where available, the page that referred you).
Why we collect it: to send you the guide you asked for, to keep a record of how many requests were made, and to resend the guide if the first email fails.
Where it is kept: in secure storage with our hosting provider, Cloudflare. It is not added to any advertising platform and is never sold.
Who else sees it: only our email delivery provider (Resend), which transports the message to your inbox. No one else receives your details.
How long we keep it: for as long as needed for the purposes above. You can ask us to delete your request record at any time by replying to the guide email you received.
No marketing: requesting the guide does not sign you up to anything. You receive the one email containing your guide; nothing more unless you ask.

The guide itself is sent as a link to a file hosted on this website. Downloading or reading it does not require an account and involves no tracking on our part beyond the anonymous analytics described below.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregate usage statistics (such as page views and general visit patterns) to help us understand how the site is used. Google Analytics sets cookies to do this. It does not have access to anything you type into the calculator, or to any email address submitted through the guide request form. See Google's Privacy Policy for details on how Google processes this data.

No advertising trackers are used on this site.
